Thanks to the great variety of of pore sizes and the high proportion of porosity, sintered metal filters find numerous applications in the chemical industry, in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as in the plastic and packaging industry. PorS filtering elements are generally made of bronze or chrome-nickel steel. Still, there are many other suitable materials, such as nickel, titanium, tungsten, silver, Monel, Inconel or Hastelloy X.
